Casually Cute, Casually Comfy

I was tired of being all serious in my pictures so I thought I would go for a more everyday causal Paige look. With being a college student the only time I really get to dress up is on the weekends. I do not wear heels walking up the hills of the campus at University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. I am more causal Monday through Friday. I work I cannot really dress up in heels, so these pictures are of an outfit that I would wear to class or an off day! Casually cute yet causally comfy was my idea for this look. These high waist shorts from Forever 21 are my favorite. These are old so I can’t remember how much they were. However they do work well for a casual or dressy look. My shoes, I scored from Charlotte Russe. I don't usually wear flats, but I really like these. I'm beginning to wear these flats a lot more. There just so cute!:)Let me know what some of your casual cute looks are!

Sexy, Seductive, and Classy

This dress is so sexy and seductive yet classy to me. Not only does this dress go perfect for the summer, you can also dress it up for the fall with a leather jacket. If you wanted to go for a more rugged look, you could add combat boots with it! Something about tribal print is IN right now, and it seems like it is going to transfer into the fall. I decided to wear my hair into a frohawk with a little jewelry on so I could put emphasis on the dress. (I am excited to one day share with you guys my natural hair journey!)

Let me know what you think!

Blue Hues

This shoot was actually a little hectic. We did not thoroughly study where the location was at, we really just wanted to take pictures in front of those pretty flowers but it didn’t end up that way. However, we came up with some good shots of my outfit. Blue Hues was the focus. I wanted you guys to see how you could make a sexy yet really simple outfit using two different shades of blue. Really simple and classy. Let me know what you guys think!

Randomness Fun

Hey loves! This is some randomness fun for you guys to get to know me a litte better. First Photo: I love this dress that I got from Charlotte Russe. It is tribal print and the sides are cut out of it (which you can not see because of the chambray shirt ). I wore it to work, so I had to wear something over the cut out part of the dress. How ever this dress is still available at Charlotte Russe! You could match it up with combat boots or sandals or even a jean jacket, or a chamboray shirt like I did. Normally I do not wear flowy dresses because I think it does not accent my curves right but someone told me I should try more dresses made like this! Now im lovin it!

Next Photo: "Dont wait for the world to recognize your greatness, Live it and let the world catch up to you." This quote is so real! We sometimes forget how GREAT we are. We all have a talent, we just need to embrace that talent. If you catch up to the world that means your not living! Let the world catch up to you and what your doing!

Upper left corner photo: I love ice cream with fruit, Oreos and cinnamon toast crunch! Yummmm! Last week it was so hot I was craving some ice cream! Me and the guy got some sweet cece's and it was delicious!! ( I want MORE !!!! But I have to be good -- for right now Lol) just thought I would share this with you guys so i could reminisce.
Lower left photo: yum yum yum! I love spinach salads ! They are so good and healthy for you! This is a salad that I myself have concocted together! (I eat this about 2-3 times a week. Yes yes I know poor college student) lol!!! This recipe involves one slice of grilled salmon, dried cherries or cranberries, red peppers, jalapeƱos, mushrooms, parmesan cheese, spinach and a side of ranch dressing! That's it! It's so simple, but yet tastes so good! If your a big salad lover, you might want to try this! Be ware! It's spicy and addicting!
Next photo: This is complete randomness. As I was scrolling through my phone I found this picture! I guess it was my casual outfit of the day! I got this New York crop top from Zara in Washington, D.C. earlier in July! I love graphic crop tops! They can go with pretty much anything!
Last but not least! My kissy face photo!!! Muahhhh!!! That's it guys! :)

My Fitness Pal

So this week I have started back with my trusty lose It App. My focus is not to lose but to eat healthy and tone up. However, if I do lose my goal would be 6 pounds. As you can see it says that I have not logged in for a month. See I told you guys I was slacking!
This app is a great tool for losing weight! It shows you the calorie count of anything that you want to eat. It even shows you the calories of meals at restaurants and fast food places. It also can calculate how many calories you burned for almost any exercise (and when you add exercising in for your day your calories remaining is more, because you burned off what you ate).
To start off it will ask you a few questions like what is your goal weight, how much do you weigh and how much you exercise in a week. It should generate how many calories you can eat a day after those questions, but if not you can put in how many you want to eat. When I first started using these two summers ago, I started off with 1340 calories, now I’m down to 1200. If I wanted to eat more, then I would exercise more.
After you put in your calories for the day and your exercises, you hit 'Complete This Entry' and it will generate for you your weight in 5 weeks if you ate like that every day. Pretty cool huh?
By the way, the best way in my opinion to lose weight is to go slow. If you know you want to be 50 pounds smaller in 6 months, and then break it up into 25 pounds the first 3 months. Because when you see the result of your first 10 pound lost you will be so happy! Ten pounds is a big difference. I exercised and did this app for 3months the first summer and only lost 17 pounds. My goal was 20. But when I came back to school everybody noticed. I MEAN EVERYBODY NOTICED. So don’t get discouraged. Ten pounds is an accomplishment, and if you continue to do it slowly, your body will get use to it and the pounds will keep coming off!

Motivational Mondays

This is said perfectly! You are who you choose to be! Dont beat yourself up because you made a mistake or had a bad day.  Dont let life get you down. Learn from each situation that is brought to you (good or bad). Everything is a lesson, a steping stool to get to something greater but it all depends on how you look at it. Be postitive, stay motivated and pick up those running shoes! Life is definately what you make it and the length of you struggle depends on You and only YOU!

STREET CHIC PART 1

Are you guys ready for fall? I know I am. Fall is my absolute favorite season. I love the autumn leaves, the cool breeze walking to class, and most definitely the fashion! Boots, leggings and a cute sweater or oversized shirt is what I mostly wear to class. It's so comfy. By the way, I am so excited to start school because it is my last semester in college. That's right I said it! I will be graduating in December 2013! :) yayyyyy!!!!!

Now to the blog, I decided to put together a street style look for you guys. As soon as I showed my boyfriend my outfit he knew immediately where the pictures should be taken at. It was a very good idea to have them taken at a gritty location! I decided to wear these black high waisted pants that I got from Charlotte Russe with this white crop top and an old plaid shirt wrapped around my waist. I topped it off with some killer heels from Zara. Let me know how you like it;)

Hope you guys are ready for school! Comment below if you have any suggestions.

A start to a healthy lifestyle

In the past I have struggled with my weight (A story that i will one day share with you). But two summers ago with the help of my best friend, aunt and mom, I motivated myself to lose 50 pounds! (I’ve never told any one besides a few people how much it actually was because I was still embarrassed that I was at that weight before) People always told me I never was "big" I just was a full figured woman, but that now I look healthier. By the way, I still am a full figured woman, Im just happier with myself. And now I have finally accepted it. However, I have been slacking at working out and eating healthy, so today I have made a commitment to clean eating. With no means am I trying to lose my curves! I would look like a completely different person!!! I love my curve, that is what makes me ...me. There genetic. Literally. lol
It is important to know what you are putting in your body. I hope you guys will follow me on this journey to a healthier lifestyle! Pictured here is Black Water and a amazing kale dish from whole foods.
REMEMBER: Do what makes YOU happy. Be happy with yourself in any shape, size, or color you are. That true happiness is something that will take you far in life and I admire people like that.
Please stay tune for more updates and stories from my personal experiences.

H&M Online Store

For those who live more than two hours away from any H&M, the opening of its online store is like a dream come true! The website is easy to maneuver through to find exactly what you are looking for. It provides must haves for just $4.95, Fall Look books for both men and women and even a chance to get free shipping if you sign up for the newsletter. (I advise everyone to do that, it ends Aug. 15th.)

I've already got my eye on a few pieces for the fall. In the upper left corner is a patterned blouse for $14.95 that comes in light beige or black. This would be perfect with jeans, black leggings, or even these dark red stretch pants for $12.95 (bottom left corner). Black is the new Black, so watch out for black on black this fall. This oversized black top (right corner) for $12.95 would go perfect with these Imitation Leather Pants for $34.95 (bottom right). You also could pair both of these outfits up with this Imitation Leather Bag (middle-$34.95) Both would be great for a night out!
I definitely need a new purse, so I think my first purchase will be the Imitation Leather Bag!
Check it out!:)
